The Marksman's Box is a Four-in-One system. It is a completely revolutionary, unique and versatile approach, to the rifle and pistol shooting sport, on the range or in the field, incorporating four endeavors into one. No longer will the shooter have to separately carry a rest, ammunition box and a stand for his/her use for a spotting scope or whatever they wish to use, in order to shoot with precision at targets or varmints with either a rifle or a pistol. The materials from which the Marksman's Box is made include virtually indestructible Lexan® (a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic made by General Electric) and steel. Lexan® is used in the windows of air planes and the canopies of fighter planes. The box and lids are made of 1/4" Lexan®, while the legs and hinges are made of steel, and the belt of 1-1/4" webbing. All in all, a very durable combination. The Marksman's Box has the capacity to hold several hundred rounds of rifle or pistol ammunition in its cavernous storage area. Once you have arrived at your favorite range or shooting area, you simply open it up, engage the edges of the lids in the notches of the box, adjust the web belt to a comfortable height, in order to rest and steady your rifle or pistol, depress the keeper on the one leg to hold the belt in place, and commence shooting. You may also attach a spotting scope, with a well articulated window mount, to either the lids or the legs and you may conveniently bring it into use to find your targets. Your ammunition is in front of you, at your fingertips, convenient and in easy reach for your use. Once The Marksman's Box is in a comfortable shooting position, it stays where it has been set for a very sturdy shooting platform. The "V" configuration of the belt induces the rifle or pistol after recoil to automatically center itself by gravity for that fast follow-up shot. The Marksman's Box does not have to be setting on a level spot either. The rifle or pistol will automatically find the lowest spot on the belt and reset itself; again just by gravity. It is not necessary to close The Marksman's Box to change your shooting position. All you have to do is pick it up by the web belt, box, ammunition and attached spotting scope all as a single unit, and move. You may swing the muzzle of your rifle over the Marksman's Box to engage targets side-to-side with unrestricted motion. Your rifle is in your control, not under the control of the many other rests on the market. Enjoy success with The Marksman's Box! |
